Story Walk & Character Hunt (Matthies Park)
Co-Sponsored with Beacon Falls Parks & Recreation Join us for a not-spooky story walk ("The Great Pumpkin" by Angie Rozelaar) and a not-too-spooky hunt for over 30 Halloween cutout characters around the park. Self-guided from 10AM Friday morning until sundown on Sunday at Matthies Park. We ask that everyone please maintain social distancing while enjoying this family-friendly outdoor event!

Registration is Required for each family (only one reservation per group please). Please let us know how many pumpkins your family will be painting (donation of $2/pumpkin to the Friends of the Beacon Falls Public Library) by emailing [email protected] Limit to 4 families for each 30-minute time slot, groups will be assigned a table, and social distancing guidelines will be maintained (Located under the Pavillion at Matthies Park). Spring Story Walk (Family Program)

Read "Bear's Springtime Book of Hidden Things" by Gergely Dudas while walking around the park, find the hidden objects in the story pages, and hidden around the park, and then make a craft to take home!
