Flanders Nature Center: Five Senses (Grades K & Up) 2/6 3:30 PM
Imagine seeing with compound eyes, hearing with rabbit ears, or smelling as a fly! What a difference antennae make when you’re small, and noses make when you’re tall! Understand eye and ear placement as an indicator for herbivores or carnivores and begin to realize that all critters depend on their senses to survive! Art Exploration: Paper-Mâché Pencil Cups (Gr. 1-5)
Join us for this two-part program, appropriate for Grades 1-5. Make and paint a rainbow shaped Paper-Mâché pencil holder/vase. Week one- make your cup and leave it to dry. Week two- paint your creation and take it home.
