A Poet’s-eye View of Beacon Falls: It’s Early History and Abundant Natural Beauty

Topics include Toby of Toby’s Rock, Mountain and Pond, Anecdotes of the big city-to-small town transition of this former New York resident, his quest for the original namesake falls of Beacon Falls, and an original song or two!

Fred Simpson’s poems appear in numerous anthologies including the Riverside Poets Anthology, Vols. 13-21 and several issues of The Avocet, A Journal of Nature Poetry. He has been featured reader for many New York metropolitan area poetry series including Ken Siegelman’s Poetry Outreach at Barnes & Noble, Brooklyn, NY. His book is called, Just Another Sunrise, Poems to the Sun. Eclectic: Fred lends his percussion skills to classical duo, Gemini Journey, occasionally fronts a jazz trio, gives percussion workshops, and has penned a one-act a capella Christmas play for the Middle Player of Middle Collegiate Church, New York City.
